Details from NamUs**
Fabian Del Rosario was last seen in the area of 30th St. & Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, on August 28, 1987, at 7:00PM. Fabian Del Rosario, a missing person, was last heard from on August 28th, 1987 when he was 20 years old. He dropped his girlfriend off where she worked at about 3pm that day, phoned her at 6pm, but failed to pick her up at 7:30pm. That phone call was the last communication from Fabian while the 3pm drop-off time was the last sighting.

This individual has now been missing for 34 years as of the original publication date of this blog post. Looking at his profile, there is not a lot to go on when it comes to distinctive characteristics. However, this appears to be a case that the authorities are very interested in solving.

Del Rosario, at the time of writing, had been excluded as a match to 26 John Does in the NamUs database of unidentified decedents. That is a high number of match attempts. I noted that 19 of these attempted matches were of John Does that were found in the state of Virginia. I wondered why such a high number of matches were attempted for that state when this missing person was last seen in Colorado. Colorado and Virginia are not close to one another. I've half-assumed that the authorities may have reason to believe that he somehow ended up in Virginia but found nothing on that matter in the sparse journalistic coverage.

What stands out with this case, is the evidence in Fabian's found vehicle that suggests that he was injured or even murdered. The NamUs description indicates that his vehicle was found on August 31st, 1987 in the parking lot of a shopping center.

What the NamUs description doesn't mention is what was stated in one of only two newspapers article I found that covered this disappearance. Del Rosario's family was of the Miami area and The Miami News reported on September 8th, 1987 that the car was "blood-stained":

Tue, Sep 8, 1987 – 5 · The Miami News (Miami, Florida) · Newspapers.com

The missing person did not have any articles or items associated with his missing person's reports. However, from the article above we can see that he is at least "believed to have been wearing a white dress shirt, tan shorts, white tennis shoes and white socks." These are items that can be searched for in the NamUs database of John Does. You would also want to cross-reference any potential matches with other case details.

Thu, Sep 10, 1987 – 8 · The Miami News (Miami, Florida) · Newspapers.com

The article above, from September 10th, 1987, shows that the authorities questioned Del Rosario's girlfriend on the matter of drugs being involved. According to CharleyProject, they had reason to believe that they were:
Authorities stated their investigation revealed he was possibly involved in drug distribution, moving cocaine from Miami to Colorado, but it's unclear whether drugs were a factor in his case.

VITAL DETAILS

Ethnicity: Black
Sex: Female
Age at time of disappearance: 18 years old
Birthdate: between April 27th, 1949 and April 26th, 1950; might be November 30th, 1949
  • The range is calculated using the missing person's age on the date of her disappearance.
Hair: Black
Eyes: Black
Scar: None indicated
Height/weight: 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6 and 95 to 110 pounds
BMI*: Cellastine Wade was in the normal range for BMI.
  • Please, Google-search BMI if you aren't familiar with the phrase. I think it's an important tool to be aware of when working on missing person cases.
Cellastine Wade, a missing person, was last heard from on April 26th, 1968 when she was 18 years old.
She has now been missing for 53 years as of the original publication date of this blog post.

One detail, in this case, is that she went missing in 1968 and yet her profile was not uploaded to NamUs until February 2021. That's an enormous gap and it can't be ignored. It's possible that she is among the known Jane Does of America already. However, there is not a lot to go on for cross-referencing her case to Jane Does. She could match up to many with the details that have been provided.

This promises to be a difficult case for Websleuths or amateur investigators. The missing person did not have any articles or items associated with her in the missing person's reports that I consulted.

I was not able to find her in Ancestry easily. Nor did her exact name produce any hits in Newspapers.com. I did find a couple people that I thought might have been relatives, however, I'm not certain as to that status either. I think this case takes on new life for Websleuths or amateur investigators if a family member that knows details of Cellastine opens up about them.

For lack of details on this case, I decided to use Grok for information (X's AI tool/March 6th, 2025). The bot admits that there are sparse details available on this case. I decided to use the cross-out feature to eliminate things that I didn't like while still leaving it readable to the reader. So note, that the crossouts are added details.

"Long-Shot Lead:
    • Cellastine Wade may have been connected to an unidentified workplace incident or transient population tied to Jersey City’s industrial scene in 1968.
    • Potentially linked to a Jane Doe case in a neighboring state.
  • Basis:
    • NamUs states she was last seen “by family after work” on April 26, 1968.
    • Jersey City in 1968: a hub of factories, warehouses, and shipping (e.g., textile mills, chemical plants, Colgate’s waterfront facility).
    • Cellastine, 18, from a working-class background (1950 census: 629 Grand Street), likely worked a low-wage job nearby.
    • “After work” might hint at more than a casual detail—possible trouble (accident, predator, or spontaneous decision) tied to her workplace or commute.
    • No foul play noted; JCPD may have assumed voluntary departure.
    • Photo’s survival (via NamUs API) suggests family insisted something was wrong.
  • The Stretch:
    • Jersey City’s location near highways (e.g., Route 1/9 to Holland Tunnel) and rail lines made vanishing—or being taken—across state lines feasible.
    • Long-shot angle: check unidentified remains from 1968–1970 in nearby states (New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio) where transient workers/runaways surfaced.
    • Example: Jane Doe found 1969 in Columbia County, NY (120 miles north)—young Black woman, 16–20, no origin, speculated on Websleuths as a Cellastine match.
    • No DNA/dental link yet, but timing and “after work” clue could fit if she hitched a ride or was trafficked post-shift.
  • Why It’s a Long Shot:
    • No evidence pins her to a specific job or confirms she left Jersey City.
    • JCPD likely limited investigation to local inquiries in ‘68—cold case inertia and under-resourcing typical for a Black teen’s disappearance then.
    • Photo shows family persistence, but no 1968 workplace records (e.g., factory logs) or witnesses make it a needle-in-a-haystack scenario.
    • Jersey City’s industrial churn produced many missing persons—some ending as unidentified Does elsewhere.

May Millete Case Update: Larry Millete’s Court Hearing on February 27, 2025, Addresses Protective Order in Missing Mother’s Case
May "Maya" Millete, a mother of three, disappeared from her Chula Vista, California home on January 7, 2021. On February 27, 2025, ABC 10News San Diego reported that her husband, Larry Millete, appeared in court for a hearing to modify a criminal protective order related to their children, as he awaits trial for her murder. Arrested on October 19, 2021, Larry has pleaded not guilty, despite prosecutors alleging he killed Maya amid marital strife. The hearing highlighted ongoing family tensions, with Maya’s sister, Maricris Drouaillet, opposing contact between Larry and the children. As of March 9, 2025, Maya’s body remains missing, and the trial is scheduled for July 7, 2025.

May Millete Case Update: Husband’s Arrest on October 19, 2021, Intensifies Search for Missing California Mother
May "Maya" Millete, a mother of three, was last seen at her Chula Vista, California home on January 7th, 2021.
On October 19th, 2021, ABC10 News San Diego reported that her husband, Larry Millete, was arrested and charged with her murder, though her body has not been located.
The arrest followed 67 search warrants and 87 interviews, with prosecutors alleging foul play linked to marital issues, including Maya’s intent to divorce.
A January 7th, 2023, San Diego Union-Tribune update noted the case was moving to trial, while X posts from
@ChulaVistaPD
in 2024, confirmed ongoing searches. As of March 9, 2025, Maya remains missing, and the trial, scheduled for July 7, 2025, is still pending.

May Millete has not been seen since January 7th, 2021, when she was 39 years old.

One recent news source that covered her disappearance was Fox5 in San Diego. According to a February 6th article by Jeff McAdam, Maya's disappearance was going to be investigated by a noted Private Investigator.

The details of her disappearance according to that news site are as follows:
Her husband told FOX 5...that he thought she might have gone for a hike to blow off some steam, but she never came home. Her car was still in the driveway, phone turned off and credit cards unused. When she didn’t show up for her daughter’s birthday party a few days later, her family called police.
Hiking alone is certainly a risk factor when it comes to a disappearance. There are plenty of missing people who were last thought to be going hiking alone.

Paula Jean Welden's lengthy disappearance spanning decades is probably the most famous case of that's covered at this site. Also, at the time of her disappearance, the husband's statement suggests that she was in an angered state of mind. However, the notion that she walked away from her life has largely been dismissed since the early days of her disappearance.

This missing person did not have any articles or items associated with her in the missing person's reports that I consulted. However, NamUs did note some tattoos:
  • musical notes right chest/shoulder
  • hummingbird on back
  • symbol on inner wrist
If you know where this person might be or have any information on this case, then please contact the authorities. In Canada, look for Canada's Missing website with the Federal government. In the USA, you can look for the NamUs profile. Conversely, you can post a remark to this article.

Patricia Hubbard -- Missing Since February 2008

Details from NamUs**

Patricia was reported missing on 2-9-08.

Missing Person: Patricia Hubbard
Last-contact date: February 9th, 2008
The area where the MP was last seen: Louisville, Kentucky, 7300 block of Dunkirk Lane near the Dixie Highway
Link to government source: NamUs #MP1696

VITAL DETAILS

Ethnicity: Caucasian
Sex: Female
Age at time of disappearance: 53 years old
Birthdate: between February 10th, 1954 and February 9th, 1955
Hair: Blond/Strawberry, shoulder length
Eyes: Brown
Scar: Left knee (limped from a knee injury)
Height/weight: 5-foot-7 and 120 pounds
BMI*: Patricia Hubbard was in the normal range for BMI.
  • Please, Google-search BMI if you aren't familiar with the phrase. I think it's an important tool to be aware of when working on missing person cases.
Patricia Hubbard, a missing person, was last heard from on February 9th, 2008 when she was 53 years old. She has now been missing for 13 years as of the original publication date of this blog post.

CharleyProject appears to have done some research on the circumstances in her life surrounding her disappearance. I recommend reading those at the following link: CharleyProject's landing page for Patricia Hubbard.

As for finding Patricia Hubbard, Websleuths or amateur investigators can look through the Jane Does at the various websites, like NamUs or DoeNetowrk. You would be looking for someone who was found on or after February 9th, 2008 for starters. Also, you would want someone who was thought to have died at about the time that Patricia Hubbard went missing. If dealing with skeletal remains, this missing person had knee surgery on her left knee. Ground zero, in this case, is Louisville, Kentucky, particularly the 7300 Block of Dunkirk Lane off of the Dixie Highway.

Clothing and articles/items that a missing person was last associated with can be important. If, for example, a Jane Doe is found, knowing what the missing person had in her possession might expedite a match. While DNA and dentals will always be the best way to conclude a match, the former can be very expensive. It's best to narrow down the field of candidates to make the process of identification more efficient.

There were a couple of articles or possessions that were associated with Patricia Hubbard. Please, take note of the following: blue jeans and a pink sweater. One odd detail with this case is that Patricia's husband committed suicide a few months after Patricia's disappearance.

Robert (Bob) Bode -- Missing in Arizona Since March 2000

Details from NamUs**

Robert "Bob" Bode was last seen on March 3, 2000 leaving his daughter's house in Tucson, AZ saying he was going to visit his parents in Clarkdale, AZ but he never arrived.

Missing Person: Robert M. Bode
May use the following alias: Bob
Last-contact date: March 3rd, 2000 (considered his date of death in his Ancestry profile)
The area where the MP was last seen: Tucson, Arizona

Link to government source: NamUs #MP77536
Missing person's profile on Ancestry: Robert M Bode

VITAL DETAILS

Ethnicity: White or Caucasian
Sex: Male
Age at time of disappearance: 51 years old
Birthdate: August 1st, 1948
Hair: Gray or Partially Gray
Eyes: Brown, wears glasses
Scar: Small scar on the middle of his forehead
Height/weight: 5-foot-9 and 175 to 180 pounds
BMI*: The missing person was slightly overweight by BMI at the time of the last contact.
  • BMI is body mass index. It relates to an individual's height and weight. I include it believing it can help picture a missing person or describe one.
Robert M. Bode, a missing person, was last heard from on March 3rd, 2000 when he was 51 years old. From my research, this is considered his date of death. I didn't find a legal notice pertaining to him being declared dead in absentia, however, his Ancestry profile, which would likely have been made by family members, considers him deceased as of the date of his disappearance. He has now been missing for 21 years as of the original publication date of this blog post.

What stands out with this case, is that he is missing with his vehicle. That was a 1995 Ford F250.

When Robert Bode went missing he was driving from Tucson to Clarkdale. That's a 220-mile drive according to Google Maps. The most efficient route as recommended by Google would be through Phoenix, however, it's not clear that Robert made it this far. Nor can the route he would have taken be ascertained.

That Robert and his vehicle both went missing while on a road trip suggests that he may have run off of the road. Many missing people have disappeared with their vehicles while traveling, either to be found roadside or even submerged in a roadside body of water. However, Arizona highways don't really have a lot of these kinds of hiding spots. That is what makes this case puzzling.

The routes he could have taken are likely to have dangerous points, however, the vegetation in Arizona is not lush in the desert. If you run off of the highway it's not very likely that you would be missing for 20 years. In fact, it's not likely that you would be missing after the next motorist passed by. That's not like the Rockies to the north where vehicles going off the highway can be hidden by deep water or vegetation. Arizona is pretty bare and this truly is a strange case precisely because the vehicle hasn't been found.

My thoughts would be that something happened in Phoenix or maybe something happened when he stopped for gas. It would interesting if someone that knew Robert indicated if he ever picked up hitchhikers. Furthermore, the route he commonly took to Clarkdale would be interesting to know.

Robert's vehicle had a license plate of  #5AA711. It had a deep dent in the passenger side door near the hinges. Also, the right rear bumper was loose and hanging.

I did not find any newspaper articles on this matter nor news articles on the Internet. I reached out to the person who posted his Ancestry profile in hopes of getting more details about this case.

The following characteristics of his might help identify him if he is among the John Does:
  1. The middle on his right hand is split in the middle.
  2. His right upper front tooth had a cap.
Please share this article to social media using hashtags that are related to where the missing person went missing from, which is Tucson, Arizona. Also, it would make sense to share with hashtags that target his destination, which was Clarkdale, Arizona. Lastly, Phoenix is a place to target with hashtags as well.

David Bruce Rea -- Missing From Michigan Since 1985

Details from NamUs**

walked away from Leelanau County residence in December of 1985. Has not been seen since.

Missing Person: David Bruce Rea
May use the following alias: Bruce
Last-contact date: December 2nd, 1985
The area where the MP was last seen: Lake Leelanau, Michigan

Link to government source: NamUs #MP11037

VITAL DETAILS

Ethnicity: White or Caucasian
Sex: Male
Age at time of disappearance: 26 years old
Birthdate: between December 3rd, 1958 and December 2nd, 1959
  • I'm not sure of the exact birthdate for David Bruce Rea but it can be calculated using his age at the time of the disappearance.
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown; wears glasses due to nearsightedness
Scar: None known
Height/weight: 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 140 to 150 pounds
BMI*: David Bruce Rea was in the normal range for BMI.
  • Please, Google-search BMI if you aren't familiar with the phrase. I think it's an important tool to be aware of when working on missing person cases.

David Bruce Rea was last heard from on December 2nd, 1985, when he was 26 years of age. He has now been missing for 36 years as of the original publication date of this blog post.

I think this individual went mainly by his middle name. I think I found him in a high school yearbook (maybe in Leland High School, 1975 Yearbook) and he was listed as Bruce Rea as opposed to David Rea. The birth year matched and Bruce is listed as an alias, so I assumed that they were one and the same.

However, this promises to be a difficult case when cross-referencing against John Does for a potential match because the missing person doesn't have any kind of distinctive characteristics listed in his profile. A John doe in the area of where David was last seen that's found and associated with a pair of glasses might help. One might assume that the glasses in the picture are the ones or the style that he normally used.

Other articles of clothing that might be associated with a matching John Doe are a green nylon jacket, corduroy jeans, a green-colored backpack, and/or leather boots. You can, in fact, plug these terms into NamUs searches for John Does. When you do that you will want to cross-reference any matches to other details of this case.

There are numerous lakes in the area where Bruce Rea went missing. Of course, there is Lake Leelanau but there is also Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. But overall, I think this is a case where a DNA match will need to be made. Websleuths or amateur investigators looking at this case should simply be looking to expand on the missing person's details and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. I did not find any newspaper articles nor Internet sources except ones that rehashed what was printed at NamUs. A family member or friend that knew Bruce Rea at about the time of his disappearance would be handy. On that note, his high school yearbook might be of assistance.
