Betty’s husband/Holly’s father reported Betty took Holly and left their home at approximately 1:00 a.m. Betty told her husband that she was leaving the state but did not say where she was going. An unknown vehicle drove up and to pick Betty and Holly up. Betty went back inside the home to grab her clothes and then left. Betty and Holly have not been seen or heard from since."

There is an online discussion of this individual's case at the Websleuths forum. Identifying the husband, in this case, would be interesting, however, I wasn't able to do that confidently at Ancestry.

I like to compare and contrast unrelated cases as food for thought. Tina Marie Sinclair -- Missing From West Chesterfield, New Hampshire Since 2001

Tina Sinclair and her daughter, Bethany Sinclair were last seen together in Chesterfield, NH, during the weekend of February 3 and 4, 2001. Prior to that weekend, Tina and her daughter, Bethany, lived in West Chesterfield at the residence of Tina's friend, Eugene Van Bowman, at 182 Mountain Road. Tina last went to her job and Bethany last attended school on February 2. Tina was 36 years old when she went missing. Bethany was 15 years old when she went missing.

Tina Marie Sinclair has not been seen since February 4th, 2001 when she was 34 years old. Her disappearance has long been considered suspicious and authorities have feared foul play. She went missing at the same time as her daughter, Bethany Anne Sinclair.

Tina Marie Sinclair has now been missing for 20 years as of the original publication date of this blog post. Many consider her to be dead in all likelihood. When people are missing for as long as this person has been, some of their distinctive characteristics may no longer be relevant as identifiers.
