Unraveling the Mystery: Key Insights and Updates
By: Shane Lambert Original time of writing: August 18th, 2025
Marla Jean Thomas, a 22-year-old White/Caucasian woman, vanished on Wednesday, December 11th, 1974, from Anacortes, Washington, under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind an enduring unsolved case. Standing 5'2" tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds, Marla had brown hair, blue eyes, and a BMI of 25.6, indicating a slightly overweight build.
No distinctive physical features or clothing details are mentioned in her NamUs profile. Furthermore, her exact last known location in Anacortes, Washington remains unspecified. Anacortes, located on Fidalgo Island in Skagit County, is a picturesque coastal town about 80 miles north of Seattle, known for its stunning views of the San Juan Islands, vibrant maritime culture, and small-town charm. Nestled in northwestern Washington, it serves as a gateway to the islands via ferry, with a close-knit community surrounded by Puget Sound’s natural beauty.
I did not find a missing persons report in the journalism from the time of her disappearance. However, I do recommend looking through the Facebook group hyperlinked. She was married with three children.
On thing that stood out with this case is that she and her husband were involved in a lawsuit against a local company, one that started just 2-3 months before Marla's disappearance.
Name: Agnes Goodall Pearson Last Known Contact: 1922 (exact date unknown) Last Known Location: Possibly Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
Age at Time of Disappearance: Approximately 52 years old (born circa 1870) Sex: Female Race/Ethnicity: Caucasian (Scottish descent) Height: Unknown Build: Unknown
Hair Color: Unknown Clothing: Unknown
Possible Connection: May be linked to the unidentified "Woman in the Well" found in Saskatoon on June 29, 2006 (Reference: RCMP Case #2012020100)
Case Summary: Agnes Goodall Pearson was reported missing by her sister, Isabelle McIntosh (née Pearson), in a classified advertisement placed in the Star-Phoenix on August 9, 1938. The ad sought information about Agnes, last heard from in 1922, suggesting she may have disappeared in or around Saskatoon.
Isabelle, residing at 4644 Bader Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, indicated a specific interest in Saskatoon, implying Agnes may have traveled there. No definitive records of Agnes’ fate have been located, including obituaries or grave markers.
Additional Notes: Agnes was born around 1870 in Forgan, Fife, Scotland, to Alexander and Isabella Pearson. She appeared in the 1901 Scotland Census and may have immigrated to Canada or the USA between 1901 and 1913. Records suggest an Agnes Pearson lived in Saskatoon in the 1910s and early 1920s, though it’s unclear if this is the same individual.
Her age (52 in 1922) conflicts with the estimated age (20-35) of the "Woman in the Well" Jane Doe found in 2006, but age estimates for long-deceased remains can be unreliable.
Agnes Goodall Pearson Still Missing? Yes, I really think so.
The absence of a grave or obituary supports the notion that she remains alive. Same-name matches for graves are other people, including the one in Red Deer, Alberta. That Agnes Pearson married into the last name. Agnes Goodall Pearson had her last name through her father.
Furthermore, the family tree for Agnes Goodall Pearson states that she is missing. They use the standard question mark and "unknown" for her date of death. That the family doesn't know what happened to her is strong evidence that she remains missing. In my opinion, she is an example of a missing person not in digital records, something this post aims to correct.

Details of an Unsolved Missing Person Case in California
Details from a government source (might be paraphrased): "Feeley was last heard from on August 1st, 1975, by his sister. Feeley was living in Hollywood at the time."
Last contact: August 1st, 1975 (Friday)
Profession: He may have been employed in a position related to religion.
Age when Lawrence Anthony Feeley disappeared: 25
Birthdate: July 19th, 1950. I think he was born July 19th, 1950 as per the snipped article below, which references his 11th birthday on July 19th, 1961.
July 27th, 1961. Page 6. The Signal.
Physical Description and Last Known Details of Lawrence Feeley
Sex: Male
Height in inches: 68
Weight in pounds (lbs): 140
BMI: Based on Lawrence Anthony Feeley's height of 68 inches (5'8") and weight of 140 pounds, his Body Mass Index (BMI) is approximately 21.3, which falls within the normal weight range (18.5–24.9).
Ethnicity: White/Caucasian
Hair color: Brown
Eye Color: Green
Scar or distinctive characteristic: Birthmark on chest
I did some research on this case tonight. There were not many hits in the newspaper database I use. However, I think I found information on this person's address and the names of close family members, if anyone needs it for further research then use the newspapers below.
Lawrence Anthony Feeley's name appeared as an exact match in June 25th, 1964 edition of The Signal (snipped below). It appeared as though he had graduated from junior high or middle school as the article noted that he was about to enter high school.
Thousand Oaks Star. Nov. 23, 1970. Page 4.
In the following newspaper clipping, I do think that I found his birth notice in the newspaper. Note that the father's name is spelled "Laurence" in this source. It's derivations like this (ie. Larry, Lawrence, Laurence) that can make keyword searching in newspaper databases difficult. That's especially the case when you have to decide whether to use a middle name, middle initial, and/or last name. Numerous different combinations arise in these cases. But anyone working on this case might find the address that Lawrence Anthony Feeley was born into handy (5841 Colfax Avenue, North Hollywood).
If there is journalism that pertained to this missing person's case, then it evaded my search terms tonight. I used newspapers.com on January 8th, 2025, and worth a look into further as more newspapers are added.

Researching Missing Persons: Historical Clues and Possible Matches
Attempt to Match
I would say that the closest match in NamUS would UP4441. This is an individual who had brown hair, was thought to be between 20-35 years old, and was found in Los Angeles County. This unidentified individual also matches the height fairly closely (one inch) and was thought to have died as early as 1976. There are some discrepancies but it's worth looking at closer, I think.
Paraphrased details from government source**: Phyllis was placed at the House of Good Shepherd. This was located at 3800 Gravois Ave., St. Louis, Missouri. While she was there at the beginning of November of 1963, she met another young lady and they ran away together. She was given a ride to the bus station where reportedly they were heading to New Orleans. The home supposedly reported her missing but Phyllis' family hasn't been able to confirm that. It was originally believed the other girl may have returned three weeks later but that too is not proven.
The photo shows the missing person at the age of 14.
Missing Person: Phyllis Marie Corbin Last-contact date: November 1963 The area where the MP was last seen: St. Louis, Missouri. There was a Greyhound Bus Station at 709 North Broadway in 1963 but perhaps there was more than one. Link to government source: NamUs MP#50556
VITAL DETAILS
Ethnicity: Caucasian Sex: Female Age at time of disappearance: 16 years old Birthdate: Phyllis Marie Corbin was born between November 2nd, 1946, and November 1st, 1947 based on her reported age at the last date of reported contact. I found a Phyllis Marie Corbin that was born in Missouri on September 6th, 1947 at Ancestry. Hair: Reddish-brown, short and wavy Eyes: blue Scar: none reported Height/weight: 65 to 68 inches and 100 to 155 pounds BMI*: Phyllis Marie Corbin was in the normal range for BMI if you use the upper values. Tattoos: Phyllis Marie Corbin did not have any tattoos associated with her profiles.
Phyllis Marie Corbin was last heard from in November of 1963 when she was 16 years of age.
This individual has now been missing for about 58 years as of the original publication date of this blog post.
There is little to go on with the case, except for the NamUs description. I did not find any media coverage with this individual. Furthermore, this individual was not in the files of Ancestry very much. However, I think I found her birthdate of September 6th, 1947. Ancestry updates their files regularly, so one thing you could do is look in that database for this individual and see if she shows up anywhere after his last-seen date of November 1963.
When I looked at Google Maps for the address of the House of Good Shepherd, I thought that the building currently standing might have been the same one in 1963. However, Google Maps only went back to 2007 for the area.
Some research I did on the House of Good Shepherd suggested to me that these were kind-of halfway houses for at-risk youth. It seemed that this was a place that someone would want to "escape" from. The following article pertains to the House of Good Shepherd from 1967. It's clear from the article that this isn't a place that anyone would want to be. It suggests that Phyllis was an at-risk youth in a problematic environment. Perhaps she sought to escape the House of Good Shepherd at all costs.

Ethnicity: White Sex: Female Age at time of disappearance: 53 Hair: Unknown Eye Color: Unknown Height/weight at the time of disappearance: 5'0" to 5'6" and 100 to 140 pounds Details as per NamUs: "Marian Morton was seen and known to be alive by granddaughter on a winter evening in either 1938, 1939 or 1940 at 114 W Market St Georgetown, Delaware."
Maron Alice Morton does not have a profile photo available at NamUs. Those that are working on this case, could direct themselves to looking for one to include with her missing persons profile. Typically, Ancestry Yearbooks are a great place to look. However, in this case the individual went missing when she was 53 years old. Newspapers.com and other sources at Ancestry might serve the researcher better.
This individual would be deceased at the time of writing. If you are working on this case, then be aware that it will be exceedingly difficult with little hope of making any contribution to justice.
There were a couple of same-named individuals that appeared at Ancestry that were both born in 1883. However, I could not authenticate either as being the missing person.

"Stillwater Police have been searching for Darian Hudson since Oct. 22, 2017. She was suspected missing after not showing up for work.
Detectives in Stillwater...were able to track Darian’s movements through the evening of Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017. On that date, she was last seen sitting in a wooded area and walking toward an intersection northwest of Stillwater.
'A Human Recovery Dog and handler were brought into the area on Monday, December 4,' Stillwater Police shared online. 'For two days they searched a large portion of the wooded area south, east and west of the intersection. Some of her belongings were found abandoned in the area but Darian was not located. At this point police have no leads indicating what has happened to Darian or where she may have gone after being seen on the 26th.'
Darian was in the process of moving to Kansas.
Family and friends told police that Darian does not have a vehicle. She may be suffering from a mental health crisis."
By Kansas, specifically, they meant Wichita, Kansas. If you are tweeting this case, then use Hashtags for that city.
Police were alerted to the "wooded area" mentioned above after they discovered someone that tried to use her debit card. This person, a male, stated "he found the card in a purse near the construction site of a church in Stillwater."
I'm sure the police would have had some questions for this person. For me, there is the question of how he planned to use the debit card without the PIN. It seems pretty futile to try and guess it.
This case detail, where someone was discovered trying to use a missing person's bank card, is similar to the missing person case of Emma Filipoff. That case is from Vancouver Island and involved a purchased debit card, the kind you get at the store with a balance on it. In Filipoff's case, the individual who used her card had found it after it had been discarded or lost.
The man that took her bank card said that he took it from a purse in October 2017. He tried to use it in December 2017. In my opinion, taking a card from someone's purse and then trying to use it involves Mens Rea. In contrast, the individual who found the debit card in Filipoff's case does not, in my view.
The best news source I found on this missing person's case is from NBC: Read More. All descriptions, in this case, suggest despondence and themes of depression involving the missing person. Those factors would make a reasonable person think that the potential for suicide is in play with Hudson but it's important not to be closed to other possibilities.
If you read the playing card below, there is a caption that reads "INMATE ACCESS #20." I'm taking that to mean that these are playing cards that are distributed to prisoners. The 5 of hearts in the deck is Darian Hudson.

Missing person: Melanie Jo Melanson Last-contact date: October 27th, 1989 (Friday) late at night or early hours of October 28th, 1989 Disappeared from: Woburn, Massachusetts; last seen near the banks of Aberjona River in an area near Hill Street, off Montvale Avenue and a block off I-93.
Ethnicity/Race: White Sex: Female Age at time of disappearance: 14 years old Hair: Blonde/strawberry Eye color: Blue Height and weight at the time of disappearance: 5'3" and 105 pounds Teeth: braces
Other: pierced ears
The case of Melanie Melanson, a one-time freshman at Woburn High School, is one that police had some optimism about in the years after she disappeared. That seemed to continue right up until about 2012. Melanie went to a party in an industrial area that was wooded and was not seen again. Charley Project offered this description:
"Melanie was last seen on the evening of October 27, 1989, at a party at an industrial park near the Woburn/Stoneham line, about a mile from her home in Woburn, Massachusetts."
I didn't find any news journalism coverage from the time of her disappearance. That doesn't mean it isn't out there, however, it wasn't in the database I searched. On that matter, I had more success with "Melanie Melanson" than "Melanie Jo Melanson."
The following snip is from September 11th, 1994. It quotes Police Chief Philip Mahoney at that time, regarding the Melanson case:
Sun, Sep 11, 1994 – 60 · The Boston Globe (Boston, Massachusetts) · Newspapers.com
The same article said that they got some information six months after she disappeared that indicated "she had been killed." At some points, there was speculation that she was a runaway. However, I think that should be considered an extremely peripheral possibility now that 32 years have passed.
One of the better articles I read regarding Melanie's disappearance was written by Yvonne Abraham in the May 6th, 2009 Boston Globe (B1). It made the following points:
she was last seen in a wooded area near "an unlovely industrial park" attending a teenage party that involved alcohol and drugs
there were about a dozen people at the party
the night seems to end with Melanie and two boys remaining at the party; these two boys initially said the other was the last to see her alive; of these two boys, one reportedly refused to give Melanie a ride home because he only had one helmet for his motorbike
dogs and police "recruits" were used for the search
Fri, Sep 25, 2009 – B2 · The Boston Globe (Boston, Massachusetts) · Newspapers.com
There seemed to be a new push in this case around 2009. That's when a bulk of news articles appeared on the topic of Melanie's disappearance. This minor spike in keyword hits lasted until about 2012.
In the November 2nd, 2009 edition of The Boston Globe there was an article that mentioned digging in the area that she was last seen and a promising new lead. However, that was over a decade ago now and nothing seemed to have materialized with regard to where she was last seen.
One article I read said a tipster suggested that her body may have been moved. That tip would suggest nervousness on the part of someone who knew where her remains were. In cases like this, it's difficult to know what to treat as genuine. If all the tips were true, it would call into question why the body has yet to be found.
On that matter, it may be that finding the remains in a wooded industrial area has proven elusive because of changes in the land over the decades. What someone remembers as the spot of her disappearance might not be off by a large margin several years later at the time of recollection. Furthermore, vegetation may have grown over her buried remains.
Someone looking at the land might not realize that a patch that was unvegetated in 1989 may now be covered. Noting that missing people are often found not far from where they were last seen despite 'extensive' searches, I would not take anything for granted in this case regarding ground zero. That's especially true given that the original searchers were described as police "recruits," which I'm differentiating from police officers.
The wooded and industrial area of the party seems to be the best place to continue looking. Besides cadaver dogs, which reportedly were used, metal detectors might yield clues.
Additionally, there is a question in my mind as to the possibility that her route home might be more fruitful than where she was last seen. Furthermore, there's the question of the two boys each seemingly deflecting attention to the other.
One question that's sociological in nature can be asked: what does it mean for an attractive teenage girl to go missing at the end of a party? That she went missing in such a sketchy area might point to local transients who used the wooded/industrial area for habitation.
However, the time frame at the end of a party involving young people might also be the time where romance is in the air. That also brings into play themes of rejection, frustration, and anger.
The social dynamics that one might speculate as associated with this missing person case are not promising when it comes to the prospects of finding Melanie Jo Melanson alive. There's the 'end of the party' social dynamics to consider in addition to the dangerous area that she may have had to walk home in -- at a dark time of night when she was just 14 years old. In my mind, amateurs or Websleuths trying to find a lead in this case for authorities should not incorporate the age-progression photos into their efforts. Those are useful with teenage runaways but there's only the slightest chance that Melanie Jo Melanson was such, in my view.
The chances of finding Melanie Jo Melanson are redeemed by the fact that this isn't a case where there aren't people working on leads. There is a private investigator that has worked on this case extensively. His name is Michael Garrigan. Furthermore, it has received major newspaper coverage in addition to plenty of efforts from amateurs.

Missing person: Delmer Paul Bonnetrouge Last-contact date: April 22nd, 2015 (reported April 21st, 2015 at the CBC) Disappeared from: Fort Providence, Northwest Territories
Ethnicity/Race: Indigenous Sex: Male Age at time of disappearance: 35 years old Hair: Black, short Eye color: Brown Height and weight at the time of disappearance: 5'9" and 174 pounds
This individual was reported missing by his family. He, Delmer Bonnetrouge, was facing charges related to sex offenses in and around the time of his disappearance according to a CBC article. That could bring speculation into the case regarding judicial fleeing.
It seems that his life was not stable at the time of his disappearance. However, a CBC article on this case stated the following:
"The RCMP told CBC there is no evidence Bonnetrouge's disappearance is related to the charges and they are treating his case as a missing persons investigation."
Early tips on this case focused on Hay River (CBC News).
At the time of writing, his Facebook page had a posting on January 28th, 2014. These postings can be deleted, however, I found nothing that suggested online activity since his disappearance (that's unlike some other cases I have worked on).

According to the Charley Project: Sexton was last seen in Logan, Ohio, on February 2, 2011. She left her four-year-old daughter with a babysitter and has never been heard from again. Sexton may be in Columbus, Ohio. Few details are available in her case.

March 25th, 2025 Update
I took a second look at this case about four years after originally posting the content below. The information at the Charley Project and NamUs remains unadjusted. Furthermore, there still isn't a missing person news article about her anywhere that I could find. What's below, is what was written on January 29th, 2021. I did make some edits as some links have died.
Original Time of Writing Content Below: Minor Edits
This was a difficult case to find information on. It seems that the sources on Angel Rene Sexton are all rewrites of the same information.
Furthermore, this missing person had many aliases. That can make it harder to research when it comes to keyword searching. You have to mix-and-match first names, middle names, and last names in the databases and then search engines to find information -- each step of the way, combing through countless people with similar names.
However, I was able to find her birth date, which is above. I have her exact birth date in my case notes.
One question I had was the exact location of her tattoo and what it depicted. It could help in this case as it can help in any missing person case.
For names associated with Angel Rene Sexton, her parents were Gary Dewain Sexton and Audrey Irene Sexton. There are also online comments regarding Angel as follows (link doesn't show anything in March 2025 but the comments below were once there):
"sammy gatenburg: I miss her she was my cousin.
12 22, 2014 | 15:54
Gina rarick: I miss her too she was my best friend before she moved back to Ohio"
The 'names' above might be usernames. I think these are people who might be willing to help iron out the details of this case if they know any, but I had trouble finding them in the time that I had allotted to look at this case. Another question regarding Angel would be why she was thought to be in the Columbus area.
The Facebook page for her missing person case was available online but has since been removed or limited.
Furthermore, I found her address to be on Linton Road in Logan, Ohio at the time of her disappearance. I think she was living in the Logan Village Apartments.
Address matches using search engines need to be taken with a grain of salt. I don't think websites really can report on where someone lived, but they may get information from documents instead. Documents can be true or false. But I noted one different last name staying at the same address as Sexton, an address that matched right to the apartment number for what would be an overlapping time frame.

When I highlight similar cases, it is not to say that the cases are related in an investigative way. However, history repeats itself because and I think similar cases provide food for thought.
What does it mean when a mother leaves a child at a babysitter and then disappears? Does it mean she disappeared voluntarily, or was she disappeared by someone?
Between the two, I would lean a little to the former. I think a mother who disappears after taking her child to the babysitter will often be someone who is finding life a little heavy at the moment, wishes for something different, but wants to make sure her child is in safe hands while she sorts matters out. From this perspective, getting a babysitter might be a step in a plan to disappear voluntarily.
What does it mean when that person still isn't accounted for ten years later? That's a different question.
Lorraine Judith Chance is a missing person from many decades ago who disappeared after leaving her child at a babysitter's. Readers can read about her case details here: Lorraine Judith Chance.
Ethnicity/Race: White, Hispanic, Latino Sex: Female Age at time of disappearance: 31 years old
Birthdate: between August 2nd, 1983 and August 1st 1984 Hair: Brown, light brunette Eye color: Brown Height and weight at the time of disappearance: 5'0" and 90 to 200 pounds Commentary: The NamUs description contained the odd phrase: "Weight range estimated to satisfy NamUs minimum requirements." That likely appears to reference the huge weight range that was provided (ie. no one knows what her weight was but they needed something to fill-in the field).
The first thing I set out to do with this case was find a photo of the missing person, Elizabeth Camarillo Hernandez. I'm not totally sure that I accomplished that but I include a missing person poster below.
I think NamUs #MP32742 is a Mexican national. There seems to be a missing person effort in both countries for someone named Elizabeth Camarillo Hernandez. Of course, NamUs has their profile but I found a same-named profile at what appears to be a Mexican site that's in Spanish.
I can't speak Spanish but everything seems to match (ie. exact name, age/birthdate). The Mexican poster below seems to say that she was last seen on July 13th, 2015 in Iguala de la Indendenia. NamUs says her last contact was August 1st and her last seen was August 8th. I'm not sure what to make the contradicting dates. If someone who speaks fluent Spanish and English can interpret the poster in the comments than that would be great.
Ethnicity/Race: White Sex: Female Age at time of disappearance: 32 years old
Born: May 24th, 1967 as per the DoeNetwork Hair: Blonde/strawberry Eye color: Brown Height and weight at the time of disappearance: 5'4" and 120 pounds Clothing: Pink jeans, gray sweater, and black ball cap
My first order for Isolina Lareal was to try and get a photo up for her NamUs profile. She went missing in 1999 and for that time frame, it's unusual for someone not to have pictures with her profile. At the end of my research, I was of the opinion that was not a missing person and her inclusion in the NamUs database might not be appropriate.
I found a marriage record for this person in December 2000
After researching her spouse and married name, I found what appeared to be evidence of someone (whose age matched) living in Florida
I am not going to publish the addresses and names of relevance. However, my tip to Websleuths and investigators working on this case is to use the aliases provided by NamUs to search at Ancestry and WhitePages. For the time being, this case might not require any work. Please make a comment if you would like an update and I will see your request in the future.

Jennifer M. Dawson was a part of the "No Photo" contingent at NamUs as of the original time of writing in January 2021. Websleuths did find some authenticated photos of Jennifer M. Dawson (#MP26327) after her case was uploaded. But as of March 2025, her NamUs profile is still bare. Furthermore, back in 2021, I felt like I did locate photos of Jenny Dawson; however, I have to consider them unauthenticated.
STATEMENT ABOUT PHOTOS
When I searched for a photo of Jennifer M. Dawson, firstly, I went to Ancestry.com. Noting that she was 34 years old when she went missing in 1986, I selected the birth year of 1952 with a small range of plus or minus one year. I did find a Jennifer M. Dawson that was of Jacksonville, Florida that was born in February of 1952.
However, I did not take this to mean that they were one and the same person at first. I've come across too many cases where details all seem to align at first, only for them to be different people after a deep dive.
But that said, Ancestry's Jennifer M. Dawson and #MP26327 had the following in common:
an affiliation with Jacksonville, Florida
a birth year of 1952
a name match, including middle initial
the range of 1985 to 1992 provided at Ancestry for residency in Jacksonville would include the 1986 last-seen date for the missing person
Ancestry Notes: How Do They Calculate Their Addresses?
Note that the "RESIDENCE DATE" above including a residency that extends until 1992 does not mean that she lived there for that time. #MP26327 went missing in 1986 but it could still be Ancestry's Jennifer M. Dawson.
What triggers addresses and residency dates with Ancestry isn't clear to me, but address matches are just food for thought anyway. They must be caused by paperwork as opposed to something physical. I treat Ancestry address recommendations as reflective of where someone's mail went or what they wrote on some kind of official document. This can pertain to the person's whereabouts but it might not.
But when I searched the address that was found at Ancestry, I looked for people of the same last name as Jennifer M. Dawson. I found that these people shared the address and the same last name as Ancestry's Jennifer M. Dawson:
Laura O Dawson b. 1958
William B. Dawson b. 1953
Rebecca Dawson b. 1955
William B. Dawson was born on the exact date of May 16th, 1953 according to Ancestry. Findagrave.com has a William B. Dawson who was born May 16th, 1953 in Jacksonville as deceased as of May 2011. Importantly, this individual had some details included in his online memorial. Those details stated:
"Billy is preceded in death by his wife Cynthia, His Mother Violet, Father William B Dawson III, and Sister Jenny" (bolding added to quote).
William B. Dawson's findagrave.com memorial also stated that he went to Fletcher High School. The school in the Jacksonville area that would match Fletcher High School would be called Duncan U Fletcher High School. I hypothesized that his sister Jenny Dawson also went to that school and put this guess to the test with a manual search of that high school's yearbooks for the years that Jenny would have been in high school (i.e., 1967 to 1970). The photos above are the fruits of that search and I think they are of the missing person.
Although that's not something I have yet authenticated, I do note one corroborating detail between #MP26327 and Ancestry's Jennifer M. Dawson. When you look at the one group photo, Jenny Dawson is the shortest person in the second row. The NamUs profile for her says that she was only 4'11". Thus, additional to an affiliation with Jacksonville, additional to the birth year of 1952, additional to a name match including middle initial, additional to an address range in Jacksonville that includes the year 1986 (the year #MP26327 disappeared in that city), we have very short stature in common as well.
In conclusion, I'm very confident that the pictures from Ancestry and the Fletcher High School Yearbooks are those of the missing person. It would be nice if someone found photos that were taken closer to the date of her disappearance. It would also be nice if someone that knew the missing person as described at NamUs would authenticate these photos (even in the comments).
It would be even nicer, from some points of view, if her likeness matched a composite sketch of a Jane Doe from the Jacksonville area that was thought to have died in and around 1986, a Jane Doe with an estimated height near 4'11". This would produce a lead that might produce more information. That's certainly not to say it would be nice to find that Jenny Dawson is dead, but when it comes to people that have been missing for over 30 years, that's generally to be expected.

Ada R. Pla is part of the no-photo contingent at NamUs. I consider this a contingent of missing people where efforts should be made to find a photo.
I am of the opinion that for nearly 100% of the missing persons where no photo is included it is likely due to apathy. But given both the effort and resources that are put into developing composite sketches of Jane/John Does, it doesn't make sense to me not to include photos of missing people in their profiles.
How can the sketches of the unidentified dead be compared to missing people without corresponding photos of the missing people? Thus, my initial efforts in Ada Pla's case were simply to find a photo of her -- and that wasn't easy. I've had no success at this point.

The NamUs description for this missing person sounds like she is being treated as a runaway: "Aaliyah was last seen on January 24, 2020 at home in North Hollywood, California. She left the home and has not returned."
My research into this case produced a suggestion that this individual may have been found. Websleuths or amateur investigators should be careful in putting too much time into this case until this is clarified. I will query the status of this case with NamUs staff and update accordingly. However, for the time being I did find a photo for this alleged MP.
Yes she was found. Tragic story, but she's healing.
PLEASE share this photo far and wide. This is Aaliyah Mason. She has been missing from a park in Studio City, CA for over 24 hours. Her mother is a dear friend and #CSUN family. If seen please call 911 and the number on the flier. #missingchildpic.twitter.com/gWpeZcNM9o
